for your life

it will not fade between the lines of your ferocity
none of this jousting tires my pursuit.
there is but your heel, pacing forward
blistering past the cracks in concrete
steadily supported and comfortable
though you strike surface with
forces of progress.
they feel your prints in japan
curious of such sweet tides
scattering the beach, ribbons of moon
a pattern of patience you overcame long ago

a culture of fear
bubbles up from
the american pie
it is done

shadows of ourselves dance between
screens
silver and silk melodies i hear calling
between tambourine
drum beats of Gaya

arise roots of peace
placing a requiem
upon sun splitting beach
a day is gone
we beneath waves of dreams
